Workplace Story Series

If you read my last newsletter you would have come across my recent profession, as a Culver’s true blue crew member. Yes, we claim to be the Chick-fil-a of the North. The menu, a beautiful variety of delish foods from our famous butter burgers to our fresh custard and everything in-between (Cheese Curds). Culver’s gives a fresh breath of living air to the guests, by playing Christian contemporary/new tunes on the speakers. At Culver’s, there are several managers, all are great hardworking people. One particularly let me in on her life story last Friday night. As we talked and listened to each other, she told me that her husband was missing, he had been addicted to drugs for a number of years. She asked that the boy’s and I pray for her when we arrive home. Instead, after the closing shift, we stood outside with her and prayed intensely that there would be a complete 360 change in his head and heart leading him back home to her within the next day. I was not scheduled to work the next day, but that didn’t stop me from hearing the Good News! Later in the evening, after the close, the boy’s came back from work and shared with me, “Cole! Her husband walked into the store, and is ready to come back home.” Yes, readers… Within 24hrs he arrived back home.
Glory to God!
