Yes. No. Maybe so?

Let’s start with Month 1:
During the first month, we broke down ourselves from “that’s who I am” to “this is who I am”. We learned to accept emotions and not stuff them, (this sounds fairly easy but it’s not, I am not condemning anyone but most of whom is reading this has probably stuffed anger, grief, confusion and never brought it to light causing you to be stuck in a jail cell of thoughts.) That was me before learning to confront my own self about what I am feeling. God created emotions, YOU are meant to feel them and own them.
Outside of class, I live with 4 brothers from the program. Justus, Joe, Joel and Alec and our house mentor Caleb. Towards the end of the first month, the boys and I applied at Culvers (which is 3 minutes from our house) and on the same day as we applied we got the Job. What we didn’t know is that this Job opportunity would bless us beyond what we could ever imagine.

Month 2:
Broad Bullet points –
– Personality types
– Spiritual Formation Plan
– Body, Soul, Spirit
– Spiritual warfare
– Shame/Condemnation
– Meditate
– Enneagram dissection
– Vulnerability
Also during the second month, I had the opportunity to pray over the Gap Year World racers at their launch and the leaders. (I served these people back in July at their training camp) A solid group of racers!
At Culvers, I gained a few awesome additions to my family! Jill, Sedina, Lindsay, Braulio, Fernando, and Trey! The Lord is blessing the brothers and me with a Family away from home. Oh, and lost sheep are coming back to the Shepard!!!

Month 3:
I gained a new friend at Culvers… dadada duhhhh, BLANCA!!!

Father Heart Conference
The Father Heart conference Impacted my life HARD.
Teaching me “WHO” The Father is, with scripture to back up the teaching. This is a 5-day teaching from 9am-5pm.

Blanca gives me life here at Culvers, she is at the top of the line for this best dance partner. Each time I see her at work (1-2 days a week, sadly) she teaches me a tad bit of Spanish, we dance, and have a great time working!
(Setting: Closing time, 11: 27 pm…) Life is FUN w/ J e s u s
ABOVE, are 4 messy pages of notes I took out of 10. Learning about Jesus and his relationship involving the Father opened up my heart to break away from assumptions of the Father’s character. The Father is a Father, a Perfect Heavenly Father. I now see God as WHO he says he is not just an idea. I don’t only run to Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I now find comfort in GOD. YES, GOD. The world perceives GOD as a ball of light in the Heavens, haha noooo. Wake up! Awaken your Spirit, revive and run towards GOD!
The second picture is a vision I had during prayer. The Father showed me that I needed to grasp his Love. I was at the bottom of the steps looking up towards the doorway of his house. The same house Jesus hung out at when he was 12. Calling the temple his “Father’s House“.
Whoooo, gave me goosebumps. That day I received God’s one on one love.

YES, we Learn.

This is just a small collective snippet of my time here at CGA.

The past 3 months have been hands down incredible, as for this final month I am thriving. I am Leading a team of 7 including me around Gainesville, GA Dec. 3rd through the 7th. We are currently in the planning stages of different ministries we could work within the area. Our vision: (To bring the kingdom, from intentional time with the Father.) I am stoked to see what the Father has for our team and beyond excited to share with y’all the journey and challenges we face ahead! Please be praying for these dates and my team members, Joel, Joe, Abby, Gabby, Drew, and Megan.

“What is next for you?”

Ha, Glad, you asked…

I will be staying in Gainesville, GA working at Culvers till February 20th. On March 1st I will be settled in my home for the next year, my home will be in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Where I will be volunteering at a Christian Hostel, leading Bible studies, running the hostel and hanging out with backpackers from all around the world. This is where I will activate my learning from here in CGA for the first time overseas, as I am already living out “CGA Knowledge” here in the states. My Humongous Goal in life is to open up a hostel overseas promoting backpackers and a place for missionaries and community workers to live for their time being. This opportunity will let me intern at a hostel that is already promoting the same values I would implement.

This trip is through The River communitieswhich is a strain of Hostels across the world based revolving around missional living. Youth Hostel Ministries, Is the Program, I will be attending starting in March.
Living life missional leads people to Christ.

CGA IS WORTH IT.
